The Metacon Gun Club is a premier shooting
facility located on Nod Road in Simsbury, CT. With up to 750
active members, the club offers an assortment of activities to satisfy the
interests of today's active shooter.
New shooters especially
appreciate the opportunity to learn new skills from Metacon's experienced and
friendly instructors. You will find NRA Training
Counselors, Instructors and Coaches who are available to meet your needs.
Best of all Metacon enjoys a diversified membership with all ages, genders and
backgrounds represented.
To find out more about becoming a
member of Metacon, we invite you to attend one of our regular monthly
meetings (every third Tuesday at 7:30PM) at the club house where you can fill
out an application form and meet some of our members.

So You Want to Join Metacon . . .
Thank you for expressing an
interest in joining Metacon. Please be advised that currently we are at
full capacity with 750 members. That being said anyone wishing to
join is urged to attend one of the regular meetings held on the 3rd
Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM . After introducing yourself and
completing the necessary paper work, your name will be put on the
official wait list.
While on the list , you will
receive a copy of the monthly newsletter advising you of club events.
During this time, we encourage you to attend our monthly Friends of
Metacon Shoots with family members and friends. Additionally, you
can attend and compete in our monthly Combat Pistol Matches held
on the first Sunday of each month after you successfully complete the
required safety check. Participating in these and other public club
events such as Women On Target lets you and the members of your
family enjoy the sport of shooting while you are waiting and gives you
an opportunity to meet some of the other members.
How long anyone is on the wait
list depends on member turnover which varies from month to month.
Again thank you for your interest in Metacon --- we look forward to
having you as a member.
